Welcome to the online Opportunities Toolbox.  This resource identifies a wide range of opportunities that can support people with experience of mental health difficulties to access employment and learning and skills.  It was created to help anyone in a signposting role to understand the many cross-sector services that might support an individual to succeed, what each service offers and the employability skills it may help to develop.  Many opportunities highlight specific points you might want to consider when you are thinking about or discussing an opportunity with an individual.

The toolbox provides a starting point for collaboration and joint working - either locally or regionally.  Each opportunity has space for local contacts to be added to the PDF when you download it or the option to create your own personal toolbox using the PDF template.

This resource was originally published as a set of cards in a ring binder you could customise and sort before use.  The 'Search the toolbox' function replaces the flexibility of the cards - you can now search for opportunities by sector and/or by employability skill(s).  For those without continuous online access there is a quick download button that  enables you to print a hard copy of the whole toolbox.
